As a Mariott Bonvoy member, I wanted to try a hotel closer to home (Atlanta), yet far away enough to feel like I'm away from home. The Hotel at Avalon has a contemporary resort environment with eye catching accent features and decor throughout the hotel. If you're here on business, feel free to have a quiet read in the corner of a book-filled room partnered with a burning fireplace OR catch up with friends and family at their indoor restaurant fully loaded wine selects and a menu that caters to every taste buds.

what to eat
Eating at The Avalon was a sure treat. I went around lunch time (after getting a late check out) approximately 1PM. There are many delicious meals to chose from that are hearty or on the lighter side of the scale. Here you'll get authentic soul food such as collard greens, shrimp & grits, or carefully-seasoned fried chicken. No matter what you're in the mood for, The Avalon have something to curve your appetite. Try it out!
